MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assist vintage librarians with setting up equipment/styling and photographing samples during styling sessions
Editing and Cataloging images to the online database
Manage the organization of the vintage library and maintaining it up to par
Entering data onto online database

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ARE:

Enrolled in photography or related program
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Highly organized with great attention to detail and extreme willingness to learn

Concept Arts- Photo Intern

Creative advertising and design firm Concept Arts seeks a full or part time photo intern to start as soon as possible. Candidate must have significant digital photography experience as well as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Responsibilities will include assisting on all in-house shoots, configuring lighting setups, importing/exporting content from our photo library, managing all digital photo assets, pulling stock photography and shooting environments for internal use. In addition, our intern will assist with everyday organizational tasks that enhance the studio's productivity on a day-to-day basis.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to break into entertainment advertising for theatrical, television, gaming, home entertainment, corporate and online/interactive projects. Candidates must be able to work on-site in our Hollywood office for a minimum of 2-3 days a week. Position is unpaid. If working full time, candidates must be able to receive college credit as compensation. Lunch and parking provided daily.

Bo Bridges Photography 3 month Internship

Bo Bridges Photography houses a 3000 sq foot studio and art gallery
located in the heart of Hermosa Beach steps from the ocean. We work
with fortune 100 companies and are strategically aligned with the action
sports community. We are currently seeking creative and sales interns
(non-paid) to help with the day to day business side of things. If you are
ready to step into an up beat space, work hard, be flexible, and have
sales, web, video editing, social media, and/or photoshop skills we would be
happy to meet with you. A minimum of two days a week would be
required and we are open on the weekends. But applicant must be
willing to give at least five months of internship time in exchange for some
incredible hands on learning experience.

Responsibilities:

NBC Universal Internship

Job Description: The Digital Media Distribution department is relatively new and was developed as a revenue source of utilizing the vast photographic archive of NBC Universal. We are organizing, archiving and digitizing NBC's archive of over 2 million images. We then retouch and clean the digital images, apply metadata, and upload them to our website that caters to the entertainment industry. We also handle a growing subset of current programming that includes talk shows, events, and news related images. We have a small staff so there are many great opportunities to contribute to our team as an intern.

Projects vary and may include the following: adding captioning to images in Adobe Bridge or Photo Mechanic; editing and doing minor retouching/cropping in Adobe Photoshop or Photo Mechanic; resleeving negatives into archival materials; organizing boxes of analog archival images; data entry of archival materials into existing Excel spreadsheet; taking inventory of archival materials; and/or, organizing and cleaning archival storage areas.

Preferred qualifications include the following: experience with analog photography, such as handling negatives and prints; experience with digital photography and working with Adobe Photoshop and Bridge CS3 or Photo Mechanic, organized, punctual, resourceful, attention to detail, a love of photography and the entertainment industry.

Internship

Photographer Steve Shaw is launching a new publication/ multimedia website, blog, limited edition print magazine, and in depth zinio digital edition magazine. There are some talented people aboard like former creative director of Flaunt and Gliteratti, Ben Ward and also former Flaunt digital media director Geoff Cooper. Both of whom are looking for interns for this new Fine Art publication launching late fall 2010. The publication is called TREATS!, its premises to showcase the Fine Art Nude by internationally renowned fashion photographers. Ben & Geoff are looking for a few key students who may have the following qualifications:
Interns skills:

-- PHP/MySQL programmer
-- Flash Action Script 3 programmer
-- Wordpress + Blog experience
-- Photoshop, web image production/compression (touch up, save for web, color correction, cropping... etc.)
-- CSS
